Christopher FaFa
Christopher, born in 1978 on the Greek island of Chios, discovered electronic music in the early 1990s through local underground radio shows. Fascinated by everything from drum & bass and happy hardcore to acid house and trance, he quickly developed a passion that would shape his life.
In 1994, after his brother moved to Athens and bought him his first 12-inch vinyl, Christopher’s love for records took off. Borrowing a pair of turntables and a mixer from a friend, he began building a vinyl collection while tirelessly refining his mixing skills. His dedication soon led to a weekly radio show on Chios’ underground station Pirate FM, where he hosted his own program for two years.
His first club residency came in 1996 at BASE Club in Chios. A year later, together with Jee Funk and Michael Looney K, he co-founded The Funkyphreaks, organizing influential house music events that helped shape the island’s nightlife. During this period, he shared the decks with some of Greece’s leading DJs, including Akyllas, Dennis, Phivos, Christo Z and G. Siras.
In 1999, Christopher moved to London to study Civil Engineering, but music remained his true passion. Immersing himself in the city’s vibrant club culture, he became a regular at the legendary Bedrock nights at Heaven, as well as many of London’s iconic venues. Those experiences profoundly influenced his understanding of musical storytelling, crowd dynamics and long-form DJ set construction.
Returning to Chios, Christopher joined the Keepintouch team in 2003 alongside Toninio and Chritis M, helping to preserve and promote the island’s underground electronic music scene through a series of high-quality events. Over the years, he has shared the stage with renowned artists including Nikko.Z, Dousk, Nick Varon, Stelios Vassiloudis, Andrianos Papadeas, AMX and V-Sag.
In 2013, he made his debut on Proton Radio with a guest mix that reached No. 4 in the station’s Top 100 chart. The success of the mix led to the launch of his monthly radio show, Syncopation, where he showcases carefully selected deep, progressive, melodic techno and underground house music. His broadcasts have since been featured on respected platforms including Digitally Imported (USA), Golden Wings Music (Argentina) and Generate Project (Greece).
Known for his emotional, deep and groove-driven sound, Christopher approaches every DJ set as a musical journey, carefully balancing atmosphere, energy and storytelling.
Since 2015, he has expanded into music production, releasing original tracks and remixes on respected labels including Particles, Soundteller Records, 3rd Avenue and Northern Lights Music. His productions have earned support from internationally acclaimed artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and many others.
In recent years, Christopher has also taken on the role of A&R Manager for the Greek record label Dopamine Music, where he works closely with emerging and established artists while continuing to evolve his own sound and presence within the international underground electronic music scene.
